Main Drain Connections

Our staff are street works accredited which enables us to work within the highways. We only need the invert level from the end of the property before the highway and the size of pipe, the rest is then up to us.

We will then:

1. Work out where the main sewer is, (foul and surface water) measure how deep it is.
2. Check what diameter the main is and what it is constructed of. This will tell us if you will need to have a saddle or a junction installed.
3. Our street works supervisor will access the traffic management prior to the work.

You will then receive a written quotation for the recommended works.
If you accept our quotation, then we will start the process.

1. We will contact the local water authority and arrange for the inspection or installation.
2. Pay all fees due to the local water authority prior to the connection.
3. Apply to the highway department for road opening or road closer.
4. Pay all fees due to the local highway department prior to the works.
5. Set up traffic management.
6. Conduct the recommended works from the written quotation.
7. Re-surface the highway.
8. Remove traffic management and re-open the highway.

Basically we will take complete control of the works from start to finish.
